Mexico 2014 Institute of Epidemiological Diagnostics & Reference

The Mexican Post released on 17 October 2014 a stamp to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of Instituto de Diagnóstico y Referencia Epidemiológicos (Institute of Epidemiological Diagnostics & Reference). The stamp design includes an artistic rendition of the DNA helix.

Mexico 2013 25 Years of CONADE (Comisión Nacional de Cultura Física y Deporte)

Mexico released on 13 December 2013 a single stamp to mark 25 Years of CONADE, or Comisión Nacional de Cultura Física y Deporte, or National Commission for Physical Culture and Sport, in English. The stamp features cycling, taekwando, boxing and athletics, with the silhouette of Mexican female athlete silhouette, Ana Gabriela Guevara Espinoza (born March 4, 1977, in Nogales, Sonora), a retired bemedallioned track and field athlete who became a Mexican Senator. A central circle features scientific methodology for monitoring athletic performance and body vital signs, hence the stamp background is decorated with biorhythmic graphs with various icons; one of these icons, the top one on the left features a double helical representation of DNA.

Mexico 2012 World Down Syndrome Day

For the 2012 World Down Syndrome Day (21 March), the mexican postal authority released a stamp featuring the painting by Lorena Velez entitled "The Monarch Butterfly" (La Mariposa Monarca), for which the reproduction could be purchased at the John Langdon Down Foundation School of Fine Arts site. John Langdon Haydon (18 November 1828 - 7 October 1896) was a British doctor who described the relatively common genetic disorder of Down Syndrome.

Mexico 2010 CONACyT 40th Anniversary

This Mexico stamp, released on 9 December 2010, celebrates the 40th anniversary of CONACyT, or Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología, National Council of Science and Technology in English. The design includes an attempt at an artistic representation of the DNA double helical structure, and an indistinct molecule.
