Bangladesh 2013 CFC Free Metered-dose Inhaler
Bangladesh celebrated the International Ozone Day 2013 with a stamp issued on 16 September 2013, promoting the theme of CFC Free Inhaler. The top-left corner of the stamp features a person using a metered-dose inhaler or MDI as it is often called, first developed by the American doctor, George Maison, in 1955.
Norway 2012 100th Anniversary of Norwegian Nurses Organisation
Norway released on 14 September 2012 this stamp to mark the 100th anniversary of the Norwegian Nurses Organisation. The right side of the stamp shows the modern context of a hospital bed, with a multitude of machines that constantly monitors the status of a hospital patient.

Lithuania 2014 50th Anniversary of 1st open heart surgery in Lithuania
Lithuania celebrated on 11 October 2014 the 50th anniversary of the first open heart surgery in Lithuania with a stamp issue. On 14 October 1964, Prof. A. Marcinkevičius, with the participation of academician E. Meshalkin, performed a suture of congenital defect in ventricular septum for a 14-year old girl with the use of an artificial blood circulation device. The next day a suture of the defect in atrial septum was performed for a second patient. This was the beginning of the modern cardiac surgery in Lithuania.
Mexico 2014 MRI Machine
Mexico released on 22 October 2014 a stamp to mark the 75th anniverary of Philips' establishment in Mexico. The stamp features some of Philips' better known products, amongst which is the MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) machine.
